When I purchased an Eibach pro-kit for my Acura CL, the instructions came with a template for cutting the factory bump stops. It worked fine for me.
Depending on which set of springs you're going with, it may come with a template also. If not, just purchase a set of OE sport suspension bumpstumps. No point second-guessing how much to cut!

But cutting bumpstops is just a matter of picking up a utility knife, while there is no other way to installing OE bumpstop but to remove the shocks from the car...

I might just go ahead and buy some rear sport bumpstops since the fronts are the same for sport and non-sport....any install time estimates???
