What's the suggested (by Audi) oil change interval for the latest 3.0 engines?

I have no idea where he got the 12K miles figure. I know 2002 and 2003 A4s with the 3.0 V6 engine definitely are on the 10K mile schedule. And if what he posted is true, then starting next model year, that will be further extended to 15K miles.
It would also be interesting to see what Audi recommends for this engine in Europe. I know they're at least at 15K km right now, but I think this will further be extended to 20K km or more soon.
Also, some of the cars there run on the variable service intervals which can be as high 30K km in some cases (depending on your driving). These cars are required to run Castrol SLX oil which was specifically designed for Audi/VW to withstand these extended drain intervals.
