Wheel-gasm!

Wheel-gasm!
Here's a few pics to tie you over until I get them mounted and put on. And what can I say? I'm speechless. These wheels are absolutely stunning. I've never owned wheels this beautiful before and made to such a high quality build and finish. HRE is the wheel god. They look like pieces of sculpted art and almost too nice to put on a car. I think I'll just hang um on the wall Even the packaging was incredible (not Avalon Approved of course ).
The brushed finish is like liquid and gives a nice affect to contrast with the polished lip. The standard silver finish looked great as well (making a good contrast to the silver car), but I wanted something a bit different. And I was very pleased by how the center pieces position was in realtionship to the lips outer edge. I was worried, that because of the curve of the center, that it would be flush, or past the lips edge. Thankfully it was not. I had seen it on the front of a BMW before and it stuck out a bit. But as you can see, it is set back very nicely. I am really surprised though. From other samples of 19's w/ lips, I didn't expect it to look or be so deep. (it's a 2.5" lip w/ 2" visible according to HRE). The overall finish? Just about flawless. Whoa! This took some work to brush that center piece. The hardware is even amazing.
Now I really need a nice set of big brakes. (Any manufacturer/dealers with a promo deal, just let me know Visualize ECS Stage 4 Porsche brake. mmmmmm, mmmmm.
The specs are: 19x8.5 ET31 w/ brushed center & polished lip (2.5"). Weight is approx. 24-26lbs I think. Build time was 6 weeks. Not bad considering it was built over the Holiday, New Year....
Thanks to the guys at F1 Motorsports [Aun, Chris, Dave,..]. One of the best places and people I have dealt with for wheels (they carry more then just that too).
And now onto the show;
