Default Wheel and tire size question.

<center><img src="https://www.audiworld.com/tech/pix/a4-7spokes.jpg"></center><p>
hey guys, i have a 98.5 A4 2.8Q 5-sp and i got the sports package with the 7-spoke wheel(picture above) i think its a 16"x 7. not sure.
but i wanted to ask 2 questions:

1) what is the maximum width on a 17" wheel i can put in my car without rubbing or even touching the fender? 7.5? 8? how about tires? 215? 225?

2) i was wondering what the 60 meant in the tire specs like 205/60/R16 i know that 205 is width in mm and R is for radial and 16 for the size of tire. what is the 60 part?

the tire is 205 mm wide, the sidewall is 60% of the width, and the wheel size is 16"
