Default wheel well liner woes...

what's the story here? both of my rear wheel well liners are pulled down again. it's been really snowy this season, but this is just lame. i now have two awkward looking pieces of heavy fabric literally resting on my rear wells, and sticking out a little bit. this is so frustrating! the left rear one i recently fixed by putting washers on the screws, and now apparently the fabric has broken through that too. my next solution, i suppose, will be to put on even larger washers, or even just metal plates, and pray! argh!

certainly another design flaw. What did the B5 have? certainly not this absorbent fabric material?

Default its a sound dampening material for the rear wheels.

Dramatically helps in the rear.. try setting in a B5 and comparing.

Its unfortunate that it is failing. Perhaps epoxy would hold it in place.

perhaps, although if straight up screws aren't working there must be some serious downforce

maybe put a bolt with a washer around it on the outside of the liner so it won't fall down :-/

Default B5s had no such material. The sound muffling on the B6s is much...

better near the rear cabin. The fastening method appears to be faulty. I just pray mine holds up.

I do on a regular basis is to powerwash the snow and salt off in to lessen the weight pulling on the material.
