Wheels/Lease
Hello all... just put my summer rims and tires back on, and had a thought. When my lease comes up (little less than a year from now) will I have to somehow track down some OEM wheels to put back on my car? I sold my original 17" avant sport wheels that came with the car to pay for my aftermarket rims a long time ago. Will this be a problem, or can I just give them the aftermarket rims?

what silverTQ said. also depends on the dealer. you might be able to get a way with picking up a
different set of oem wheels and they won't even bat an eye. others might go down the list and itemize. gl. probably by that time, the oem wheels will be cheap anyway

Could be a problem. Depends on the independent inspector, I would imagine.
After all, you sold property that didn't belong to you in the first place. Kind of like swapping the tires/rims on a rental from Hertz.
I would make sure that you have this "approved" on paper BEFORE handing your car over. This should be part of the lease-end inspection. If you turn the car in without an inspection, they can pretty much charge you for anything they want.
