Default When do the control arm bushings usually need replacing?

I may be looking at a 2005 Quattro automatic with sport option with 77k miles. Don't know if timing belt and water pump are original. Probably are. When could i expect control arms to need replacement.

Do the timing belt as soon as you buy the car. I did my control arms at 175k.
