when removing the rear seat, is there an actual airbag sensor in the seat?

I was looking at Bentley and it only says to remove the airbag connector from the groove, it doesn't say anything about disconnecting it. I was wondering if there is anything to disconnect. Can I drive with the rear seat out for a while without lighting up the Airbag malfunction light?
Thanks

to remove the seat, you have to disconnect the seat from the harness? Bentley is kind of confusing, it looks like you just remove the connector from the groove without actually unplugging anything.

I wanted them, but they did not come on my car when I bought it off the lot.
That being said, when I removed my seat, I think I had that electrical connection on both sides.

did you just leave the airbag connector unplugged? I guess if I want to leave the seat out and not get an airbag CEL, I would have to put a resistor.
