This is probably a repost, but I have spent no time on the A4 forum.

I see the new Golf R32 is using the 3.2 liter, but when will they trickle down (up, actually...) to the A4's and other Audi's?

What about the next turbo? 2.0 liter?

rumor is we may get the A3 here when the new generation Golf V comes out. 3.2L VR6 with 240hp like found in the Golf R32 may be in the new S3. My lease should be up by then and I will be all over that car. I miss the smallness of my last GTI. My A4 sucks with the GIAC chip in it. Makes weird noises. No more turbos for me. I need a nice fast quattro V6.

We may see the 3.7 V8 with 280hp. It will slot under the 4.2 V8 S4.

lately all I do is think about a few years from now when I will be driving my new S3. Love my A4 but the lack of power and issues with my chip are killing me. Normally aspirated for me again. Never had a problem with VR6!

since you like Alpha's so much, do you think they will be offered in the good old USA anytime soon? When I was over in Italy a few years ago I fell in love with them. I wouldn't mind driving one of those 156's. That would be one Italian car I could afford right now! Being Italian and all I would love to drive one.
