after sitting long enough I could see a few drops
but rarely.
biggest symptom was it only leaked when cold, once warm it was fine IE I drove the car from PA to CO and lost very little, but driving to/from work every day leaked quickly.

*UPDATE*
repair completed, picked up the car this morning. It was an o-ring that caused the leak, in the back of the engine. They said it seems to be a common thing on the B6 A4's.
But all is good now!
