If you have BOSE(which still sucks) its on the right in the trunk behind the panel

would you have rather gotten the audi symphony?

Default The amp is on the right side of the trunk for Bose and non-Bose.
In the non-Bose, it powers the rear door speakers and back deck sub. The deck powers the front door speakers and center chanel.

Default I think I would have rather gotten the stock system...
I see no real improvement with Bose. I am annoyed every time I turn on my radio by the lack of sound quality with the Bose system. I have a much better aftermarket system in my 72 Super, so that is why I am a little biased. It is kinda frustrating having the better system in the older car. I do, however, consider the Super the better of the two :] . I just have no A/C in the bug, so I drive the Audi.
