the reason i ask is i am looking to do an apr stage 3 when it comes out. i am just a little weird about spending the cash to do the stage 2+ and then when the stage 3 kit comes out having to purchase everything from them again. have you spoken about this to them. i knwo the kit will come with a chip and injectors so i just dont buy them now if they are not going to discount the kit. also does apr really offer a stage 2+? i could not find it on their website...thanks o yeah, how do u like it?

stage 2 is usualy stronger clutch, brakes and brains
stage 3 is more go power, new turbo etc

1+ so chip and Injectors plus the exhaust that makes up the 2+. If you going to get their stage 3 I would suguest to wait and just do it all at once. I feel that it would be cheaper unless they credit you almost 1K for it. I have talked to them about the stage 3, They said they might offer a discount on the injectors since the ones in the 1+ are not going to work with their stage 3 as of the last time I talked to them the still didn't really know what they were going to do about it, I also don't think I have to pay for the updated program, so there is that discount too. Over all I am real happy with my 2+ it makes the car a completly different one. if you called them now they would be able to get you better info on what injectors they are going to use for their stage 3, since it is closer to completion.

stage 1 typically is just a chip, or chip and maybe intake or air filter.
stage 2 typically adds exhaust and/or downpipe
stage 3 generally refers to a larger turbo and related hardware.
*with VW/Audi applications anyhow.

stage 3 = new turbo
as we don't need intakes, and header definately isn't stage 1, that's pretty serious mod. I also wouldn't consider clutch stage 2, that usually comes much later on. I agree with the rest though, espeically that fact that its all ambiguous
