<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/45487/cpu_desoldered.jpg"></center><p>Got mine done at Salisbury Motors (APR) which is about 1 hour 20 mins west of Albany. They did it on the spot in just over an hour.

Broadway Auto Clinic in Albany is a GIAC dealer, however last I checked they were sending ECU's out for the soldering.

I'd rather spend 300 on a neuspeed than 500 on a giac when both do basically the same thing.

Default What tranny do you have?
What are the specs of the chip for your car? I have the CVT, and the GIAC chip has 210 hp and about 216 lbs-ft of torque. The Neuspeed has 200 hp and 220 lbs-ft of torque. Do you think the performance gain will be identical?

Default 1.8t manual. Well torque is more for pick up, hp is more top end10hp in the realm of (m)
things is not much. and 10hp is not worth 250 dollars to me.
