Default I dont think it matters if you have the Ultra Sport to decided on the best exhaust.

I have done some research on Miltek Exhaust and its pretty damn nice. Thats what Im looking at buying for my 3.0 Quattro 6-Spd. If you want something thats not to loud and has nice size tips. I recomend this system. Do some research to find out whats best for your needs.

Default In your research, did you run across any of my posts?

I had a terrible time getting the Miltek exhaust to fit on my 3.0. We had to send it back to them 4 times before I eventually gave up and returned it. I would not recommend purchasing one unless you can find some proof that the fitment issues have been resolved within the last 3 months.

Default Really? I didnt hear about that problem.

That sucks because they advertise that it fits perfectly on the car with no problems. So whats your next move with chosing an exhuast system?

Thanks for the info with Miltek.

Default I should add that at least one person does have the Miltek sorted out...

I'm not sure who it is, but somebody did get it to fit with the help of a local exhaust shop (he's in Cali, I think). So maybe if you know of a shop who'd be willing to make some adjustments, it wouldn't be much of a problem.

For me, I've only got 10 months left on my lease, so I've decided to hold off until I get into my next car (which will probably be a 1.8T A4). Modding for the 3.0 is tough. The market is so small, the options are few and far between. If I were still looking for an exhaust, I'd probably be anxiously awaiting the OEM Sport exhaust. The fit should be perfect and the piece-of-mind from knowing it's Audi approved is worth the premium price, imo.
