true the bmw has that "i made it in life" factor
when really us car people are like...whoopde dooo ...another yuppie civic as i call them...they are everywhere in Los Angeles and here AZ. That 318ti is the worst bmw EVER..it looks like a turd..LOL

my dad really liked the m3 when he got it (it was mainly me telling him how much i liked the m3)... but the car was a perfect fit for him he had a 911 6 speed... but had hip replacement surgery so an m3 with SMG was a decent compromise for him...
anyway i told him as much as i love bmws and ///m cars i hate the stigma and everyone and my dad never realized the stigma but he does now

I think they went up and you just dont know it cuz you dont follow bmw
i was shocked when the neighbor brought home a new premo 545 and he said it cost 60k..i was like "Ouch, for a 5 series...geez". Now i sound like my grandparent...LOL We've all heard this one, "when i was a kid i paid a quarter to go to the movies" etc etc..lol

Ok, a new RS4 has 8.6lbs/bhp (420bhp/3630lbs), while a 911S has 8.0lbs/bhp (380bhp/3075lbs)...
Given that, why exactly will the new RS4 be 2.5 seconds faster to 120mph (200kph)? That is a pretty substantial difference.

Yeah if you are street racing for money it matters..other than that no one cares
at least til you have to actually do that and the driver is a big aspect of that too. Everyone is diff in the car when i comes down to those split second shifts...true? If you arent that good (race car driver psycho) then that 2 and whatever seconds doesnt mean $hit...you just want to know that if you wanted to you could win and it also says so on paper. But mainly, you will smoke the doors on more than most things on the street..thats the whole idea here.

well, maybe you're just looking for a serious sports car, period. i dunno, but I'd say for some, who are looking for a luxury with performance type of ride.. the rs4 would definitely serve it's purpose as a good choice.
i mean.. that's why i like my audi so much.. a 4 door with a touch of luxury and performance in one.
what a concept!! not to mention, nice balance. =]
anyhow.. i don't think i can afford either the rs4 or a 911s, but that's my 2 cents to the issue.

porsches used to be raw cars...
now you sit in a porsche with fine leather, bose sound systems, navigation units, and any customized accessories you can think of....
