Why did my brake pad worn light just come on when my pads aren't worn?

Default Why did my brake pad worn light just come on when my pads aren't worn?
My pads are about 4 months old and have plenty of material left on them. Any reason why I'd get this message? Is it brake fluid?

Default If it's the wire coming from the pad then not really...
I'd just cut both wires off the pad and tape them together - no more sensor warnings ever. But, if it is broken elsewhere it might be a bit more of a PITA.

Default I just recently changed the brake pads and was surprised by how easily the wire...
could be pulled off the brake pad. Luckily it was the worn pad and not the new one.

Check your connection. One of mine came loose and I got an error message.
