Why did you choose to purchase a B6 Audi A4?

mer C-my sister has one....i don't like it....
BMW 3-nice car...$$$$$.... too many around..
cady-don't like it...
acura-not on the same level as AUDI
IS300-i had one...lease was up
infin35c-i like the looks, interior is ok...like the power...most of the dealers are a-holes..had to pay too much for extra....and i didn't wait a few months it.
Audi A4-love the subtle look....very simple and nice interior...a all around great car....i got this car last month, and it still amazes me...my cousin and friends are very impressed with the car...before i bought mine, we knew very little bout the A4...

only thing comparparble price wise is the is300 with simliar options and the sabb, only problem is that neither had awd, other car i would look at now is the new legacy

I know the CTS and the G35 are close in price, but size wise they're both closer to the A6 and 5
series.
anyway, i loved my b5 as much for the intangibles as the tangibles and when it was time to get a new car, i knew i was going to get a b6.
i like the looks, quattro, the performance, the size, the price, the quality of the materials, the fact that it is a little different, and for the most part the audi "community" for want of better word.

1st Audi...
Well I had a Volvo 850 GLT before this car. I was in the market looking at:
Volvo S60 T5, AWD
VW Passat
VW Golf GTI 20th
At the end I decided on audi based on its awd history. The space is about the same as the S60. Didnt choose passat basically i wanted awd with turbo engine. Almost picked golf, but i needed something alittle bigger than that.

Best German car for $31k loaded
I didnt want to spend more than $30k on a car and the audi was perfect. Plus awd and able to upgrade the turbo was a plus for me. Also the interior won me over.
Couldnt mod the 325 much. Plus with the same option it came to around 35k.

quite simply, I needed 4wd and I like german styling best.
I'm 21 and the C class benz is a bit too stuffy for me....
that leaves the bmw and the audi... the bmw 4wd system is more expensive and the BMW wagon is kinda ugly...
thus...A4 avant quattro
