Default My Answers...

In my opinion...

BMW 3 Series - way over priced when options are added. Otherwise the 330 is a great car.

Cadillac CTS - rear drive, quirky styling, poor build quality.

Acura TSX - looks too much like a Honda Accord, no V6 offered, the TL is a much better choice in this class.

Infiniti G35 - great all around car now available with AWD, not as exclusive as the A4 (too many on the road).

Volvo S40 - too small, underpowered, the S60 with AWD is a much better choice in this class.

Lexus IS300 - Rear drive, small interior and trunk.

Saab 9-3 - quirky styling, poor reliability (worse than Audi).

Mercedes Benz 320 - way over priced when options are added, stuffy image, handling and ride are geared toward luxury.

Default I dunno about Sabb being poor reliability. Consumer Reports says average-good.

I know they are glitchy though.

Default knew it was the car the moment i saw it on the lot....bought it the next morning

i had forgotten how much i loved the B5 A4 when it came out in the 90's...and seeing the B6 one night while shopping for cars brought back just enough for me to fall in love all over again.
quattro is like none other...i dun care if your car goes faster! HAHA
the interior is sweet, the size is perfect w/ 4 doors, it's german, sophisticated...and Audi/VW owners seem to be the most into modding/customizing their cars.
your list of cars are legit nonetheless =P
