in 2nd as the RPM's increase. But nothing in 1st. I only have @850 miles on her and don't wind the RPM's up to high all the time just yet. Do take it up on an occasion though for break-in.
Is this normal?

the pressure required to spool up the turbo. Of course, your clutch will eventually pay the price for this if you make it a habit.
Following link explains the physics better than I can:

http://www.howstuffworks.com/turbo.htm</a

when the manuf quotes bull boost @ 1800 rpm they mean
5th gear go WOT from 1000 rpm and by 1900 you will see full boost
1st gear passes by too quickly to see full boost in the same places as the higher gears.
