i am getting a alpine sub and amplifier...i wanted to know if i could use this audi0 link to take the signal from the stock wiring going to the bose sub and attach the rca outputs to my new amp and sub? will that work?

Sure, but check to see if the Alpine amp already has speaker level inputs.

Default if your amp has "high input connectors".......

tap the posititve and negative wire of the stock sub and run the wires to the positive and negative of the amp and just do it that way. thats the set up i have . if you want pics ill post later. and my car slams!! i have a 600 watt kenwood amp and a 12"alpine type S

tap the neg. and pos. with reg speaker wire.

then run and hide the wires where ever you want them to go. then into the high input.

Default If you have Bose...

you'd be better off using the line-level outputs directly from the factory deck. If you'd rather not run a set of interconnects from the deck to the trunk (the better method), you could also tap the same line-level signal in the trunk at the Bose amp behind the passenger side trunk panel. Either way you'll need to run a power cable from the battery. Check the Audio forum for more details.
