Will 16's be too small on a USP (for winter wheels)?

I wanted to go with 17's but the guy I was interested in purchasing them off of has already sold them (A3 S-line wheels)
I need to get a set pretty soon here, and 16's seem available in my area.
thoughts?

If you choose a size that doesn't change the overall diameter, you won't get a change in ground clearance.
