Default Will DIY maintenance Void Warranty

I have the 100k Audi extended warranty and now that I'm pass the 4 year in service date so I no longer receive free maintenance from Audi. Since the extended warranty says that the car must be properly maintained at various intervals will I void my warranty if I do the minor stuff such as spark plugs, air filters etc. myself?

Default read the contract

some say you must use an ASE certified mechanic to do various work, some do not care.

in the end a receipt is all they want, you could make up any receipt from a auto shop that has gone out of business and that would be fine eh?

Default I'm having a mechanic do the 60k and 70k service, just in case. By 80k,

it'll be two years most likely. I also have the mechanic sign the book, and I staple the receipt into the book for docs.

Default as long as you install the new parts correctly, I would say that you're fine.

the items you list - air and oil filters - fall under basic maintenance. And as others have said, keep your receipts.

Default Re: read the contract

I had to get warranty work done and to prove maintenance was done correctly all I had to do was show receipts for materials and date and mileage the maintenance was done.

Well I'm doing the 40k and will have a reputable independent shop recommended by members here do the major stuff like belts and fluids. I will do minor stuff and keep receipts.
