Will A Split Crankcase Breather hose cause Rough Idling?

The rubber elbows (just above your finger in the picture) are what was giving me codes. They look good from the top, but mine were hard and cracked. I checked by using a spray bottle with soapy water, sprayed while running showed a change in engine smoothness.
