Default Wind shield replacement

I just had my windshield replaced in the parking lot by Diamond glass, I watched the guy, it was very easy, I even had to help him place it on the car.

I could not believe how thin the windshield glass is. No wonder it cracks so easy. The new one was a direct replacement from Audi, according to Diamond glass, the after markets are not out yet.
My old one had distortion, hopefully this one doesn't.

Does it bother your eyes or distract you when looking out it? If not, don't worry about it. Some just had distortions severe enough to cause problems for the driver.

However, all windshields I've seen from all car manufacturers have slight distortions when you look at them from certain angles, so don't go running to the dealer if you see these. It's just the nature of the shape. You can usually see a slight ripple to them, especially towards the sides...

Default I don't know, but...

I think the a4 windshield SUCKS

whenever I drive around and it's humid outside (east coast.. eww...) the windshield collects so much frickin condensation. I have to turn my windshield wipers on in 95 degree weather.

Default That has nothing to do with the windshield. That's due to the AC blowing cold air at the windshield

through the defroster vent. Try switching to just forward and floor vents in the climate control.

Default Interesting, I thought my new A4 3.0 Windshield was producing some distortion (m)

Has anyone else noticed this? To me, it is more than slight.

If it bothers you, take it to the dealer. Some people had theirs replaced.
