Just had a call from a friend who parks next to my car, found that my rear passenger window was open, even though I left it closed and locked with alarm armed. Little strange. To make things worse, I am away on the trip, my 4 year warranty experies tommorrow.
What kind of a window problem could this be and if I called dealership tommorrow and scheduled it later, would it possibly be covered under waranty.
I searched and found numerous problems with the regulators or some sort of a clip braking, but the window in my case opened on it's own while I was away. It was not a case where I opened it and it would not close.

b/c its nearly impossible to replicate to prove to them that something needs to be done, its unlikely

I seen that as well but doesn't happen all that often.
