there was some talk that dealers received a TSB stating that the 25a is the correct fuse and that they should replace the 20a when vehicles come in for service. Apparently, not all dealers are aware of this, though...

I am bringing the car in for a second time on Friday for this. Originally dealer thought it was the fuse but it ended up being the sender units. Hopefully it will be done correctly/differently this time.

Just want to thank all the posters who contributed to this washer-freezing issue. I rarely visit AW forums any more except when I have an issue - this place continues to be a wealth of helpful DIY info. My car is an early-build B6 and I've had it since '02, got 75K+ miles on it and hadn't run into this issue before being in the 10-degree mountain night snow recently.
