Default Thanks for the responses everyone. YOu are all correct that I won't be tracking

the car. The car is now my weekend car as I walk to work, hence why the 19's. :-)

Default When I had my BBS RGR-s, I absoultely felt a difference, on the street, when

I put on my OEM wheels for the winter. The weight difference was about 6 lbs. each (both 17 inchers).

I think the 4 lb. difference will still be felt somewhat. You'll get slightly better suspension performance over bumps, and the sterring will feel a bit lighter in your hands.

Default are you kidding...heavier wheels are noticable, everything feel sluggish compared to

the lighter wheels.
Is 4lbs a big difference? Not really, but if it's a larger diameter wheel, it will be noticable.

Default I disagree

I run heavier summer wheels (Sportec Mono 10s) that weigh in 4 Lbs heavier than stock wheels. I also put my car on the track fairly regularly, so I'm very in tune to what it's doing. I don't track the Sportecs, but I certainly can't tell the difference between them and the stock wheels. Suspension rebounding, steering response, none of it is noticeably affected.

Default 2nd that.. Each inch up in diameter makes a big difference, even at the same weight.

Simple physics, and our little motors and tiny brakes suffer under bigger wheels.

Default No, not "very" noticeable. I drop 9 to 11 lbs per corner from set to set and it is...

barely realized at the 1/4 mile track although you can "feel" the difference in handling, just not see it much in acceleration. Infact I ran my best time in my sig with the OEM wheels that weigh 9 lbs more.
