seem loud all of a sudden. I have inner front wear, obviously out of alignment, but would that also make them loud? I'm also poor at the moment...closing on our first house this Friday!

Default yes...

I had the same tires and at a point had extreme wear on the inside shoulder. Other than that, the tires would've last another 5-10k.
When I've replaced the tires, had alignment done, and it was off.

Default Try less positive toe, ( toe out,) when you get aligned.

Be careful, the tires can wear to the steel belts on the inside edges very quickly.

Setting the toe to Zero will help with that, but maybe more tire pressure too

Default I agree with the comments below, but I'll caution you that I had Kumhos for three summers,

granted not the ASX tires, the Ecsta 712s, and by the third summer last year, my ears were ringing after each commute to and from work. I put on my winter tires in November, and I could hear again while driving. I probably had another 5k miles left on the Kumhos, but I threw them out because I couldn't stand them.

Default that's funny i have those same tires and only 7k on new set and when i was changing out my front bra

ke pads i noticed that the inner part of the both front tires were wearing out much faster about an inch wide on the inner edge.

i wonder if it's an alignment problem or rubber material issue?

anyone else want to think deeper?

Kumhos are just loud after 10k. No wear problems for me. I'll never buy them again.

Default My ASX's were whisper quiet for their entire lifespan.

They were useless for anything but dry pavement after 20k miles, but smooth and quiet none-the-less, up to the 30k mark. They were done after that.

If you want to talk about noisy tires, my Avon Tech M550's were like riding on mudders.
