alright, lemme explain why I ask: The a4 is our car and is known to have good awd system / G35 because of that new system (differential?) that transfers front and rear power accordingly / and lancer because of it's rally history and light-weight and all it's other suspension settings.

Default A4 without a doubt....

Quattro rocks, and this is a Audi forum so are answers are slightly swayed....

honestly it would come down to who has the best tire on for that particular condition....

Quattro is the best AWD, together with subaru.

Default Ah, I like the real Evo8 AWD system better than quattro and Scooby's

Too bad we got shortchanged here with a VC.

Car still handles incredibly well in the rain, despite all the wheelspin in 2nd.

Default Absolutley.

Those different differential technologies won't add up to anything except in the hands of a professional driver.

Default What makes quattro better is that it is 100% mechanical, always in all-wheel...

drive with an even split on torque unless there is slippage. The others use viscous couplings, electronic differentials, and are usually biased to front or rear. It's not even close.Subaru probably has the next best system to Audi/VW, and have proven themselves in racing. The others are just - me too.
