Wow I actually have a kill story to share ;)
A white B5 A4 1.8t Quattro 6 speed was trying and trying and trying to get me to race and I wasn't feeling it, but we end up at a red light.
I don't know if it's sad of not, but I crushed him up to about 75, then we slowed down as we saw cops. I was well ahead of him when I hit the brakes too.
I know he had exhaust, but I have no clue what else he might have had done to the car.
How fast were the B5 1.8t's ?

B5 1.8T is 150hp. 2001 MY is increased to 170.
I'm guessing that he was stock otherwise. A chipped 1.8t with a manual is faster than a 3.0 with a tip (B5 is also lighter).
Or maybe he was new to driving a stick. I remember a 5-speed Toyota Tercel pwning me on every red light (there was a string of them) when I just picked up my car. I mean I was like 4-7 car lenghts behind all the time (0-50mph approx)lol.
