Default Ralphie, I can accept parts failure easier than poor engineering!!

If "mrgrantsr" gets a new trans and the car runs great for him...he wins! If not he dumps the car!

I wish my suspension was "broke" so they could replace it!

I really don't know what to do with car as I must fix the poor engineering to make it right. I may go with new tires and shocks to see if there is any improvement and then work from there. I guess I can't do much about the granny 1st gear but I could live with that.

Default Re: Info please!?... What was the cause and/or signs of your bad tranny?

No sign at all. Just started all of a sudden.

Default Re: Why even bother selling the car; fight for brand new replacement...

I don't want a new tranny. I will always have this in the back of my mind.

Default Re: You don't think a new $275K Ferrari ever has parts that fail or MB's or BMW's???

That might be so. But just because it happens does not mean it is acceptable.

I understand **** happens, but wait until you are on the receiving end and see if you don't get a little ticked.

I meant a brand new car to replace the current one with the busted tranny. ;-)

Default I didn't mean to sound aloof ... my apologies

I would totally be upset, my only point is that it does happen, and from the amount of posts on this board, I would venture to say in this population of users it's a really un common problem

once again I apologize if I offended
