It's just over a year old! Is this covered under warranty? What really pisses me off is that I'm pretty sure the spot that's cracking is one of the spots a greasy service guy mucked up, but of course there's no way to prove that now. Would that have caused it to crack?

Yes, this seems to be a defect in material. Covered under warranty.

I noticed it about a month ago. Took it to dealership and they replaced front drivers seat pad under warranty. I was pretty shocked too that the seat was cracked. I know there was no way that I damaged the seat. Where is your leatherette cracking?
