Default Xenon to bi-xenon upgrade

I dropped my passenger ECODE housing. I may upgrade to bi-xenon for the extra $140

Are my ballast compatible? how about the bulbs? Or do I need new bulbs?

Looking to buy them from

Default bulbs and ballasts are compatible. Note that I prefer single-xenon setup to the bi-xenon one...

I ran the ecode bi-xenon setup for 2 years. Last year I switched to the ecode single-xenon setup with no regrets.

Default Better (more even) light distribution. Also the beam is a bit wider.

Single-xenon setup doesn't suffer from condensation problems.

Yes, I do miss having HID high beams, but then again when I had the bi-xenons, I used the high beam feature like 5 times in 2 years so no big deal really.

Default Note that 5G ballasts are not compatible with Bi-xenons...

only 5GL ballasts can be used in Bi-xenons. However, 5GL ballasts can be used in both types of housings.

Oh, and I like single xenons better too. No fogging.

Default Right. Although according to the stuff I've read 5GL ballasts were on all B6's after 2003.

5G ballasts were used only on the really early ones.

In that case you most likely have the 5G ballasts :-(
