xenon question

Yes, this metal strip is designed as a shield for OEM reflector based Xenon headlights.
The design of the reflector matches the shape of the shield on the bulb.
It is useless for use with a HID kit since the halogen reflector is shaped differently.

Great !
Now it's clear 4 me!
D2S - for lents beam like AUDI one .
D2R - for reflector based
D1S - for standard OEM xenon
Have I to find a like H7 metal base piece to fit the D2S on the H7 beam ?

Not exactly.
You are correct that the R bulbs are for Reflector lights, and the S bulbs for Projector lights like our A4 has. But:
All xenon bulbs (D2S, D2R, D1S etc) are designed for OEM use. Xenon bulb manufacturers (Philips, Osram/Silvania) never acknowlegded the existance of aftermarket use of their xenon bulbs.
The D2 bulbs have a seperate igniter, while the D1 bulbs have the igniter (not to be confused with the balast) on the base of the bulb. Therefor the D1 bulbs have a large square base.
Most aftermarket HID kits are D2 since the D1 bulbs are just too big to retrofit in halogen light units.
So, if you keep the halogen housing...and just want to upgrade/retrofit xenons, you need a H7 compatible hid kit. Beware that just ordering Philips or Osram D2S bulbs that don't have a specifically altered bulb-base to be retrofitted will not work. The bulbs just won't fit.
A good kit will consist of balasts, perfectly fitting bulbs, a wiring harness and relays.
I once had a H7 HID kit from www.autolamps-online.com. I suggest you check out their site. Even if you don't order anything...they have a lot of information about halogen -> xenon conversions on the site.
Before you start messing with xenon electronics, remember its 22000 volts you're playing with.
