Default Xenons

If I were to purchase a car that did not have xenons installed, is there any way I can pick up a set and install some?

Default You can ugrade your halogens to HID...but "true" xenon headlight housing have autolevers...

i think you can still use xenon housing (also have to buy bulbs, ballast, etc) in a halogen equiped car, but the autolevelers wont work..(i assume you are reffering to a B6)

Default Not too bad from a dealership

Seems to be a great car, low miles for an 03, fully loaded with options, and the Audi Certified is nice. One question though, do you plan on doing anything to the engine? Why I ask is that its an auto tranny, and its not as mod friendly as the manual tranny...There are still people on here who heavily mod their autos. Just something to consider.

Well not too many mods.. mainly like some wheels, springs, some body pieces and maybe a chip.

Default That is what I did. OEM parts, it's bolt on, plug in, turn on, easy.

But as mentioned by others, you won't have auto leveling. The Auto level system is only effective for correcting the beam angle changes from various payload amounts. It does not react fast enough for real time leveling of the headlight beams due to bumps.
There has been no problems for me not having the auto level setup.
