Default when you show up to class late just sit and listen...

jumping in on discussion a few hours too late is not very effective.

Default Gee, YOU answered pretty quickly. You still seem confused. Passive resistance?

What did you learn by starting early?

Default I suppose I need to point this out once again

This is not a car show. This is an owners GTG. So the people who've been reading this forum for the past year and a half can put a face to the name.

Let me ask you a question? How often do you post here? How many people on this forum know you? Of course later on there will be GTGs for everyone.

Since ABT SUN was the organizer, he can do what he chooses. He also seems like a fan of ABT so the obvious choice, for him, was AMS. AMS only has limited parking. Since this is only meant for the B6ers, he doesn't want BMW, VW and many Audi owners showing up to 1) take parking spaces so people who've planned to come to this event must park down the street and 2) to keep this as simple as possible.

Default Completely agree, just feel bad for the guy. He tries to put together an event and all of AW

jumps on his case, calling him elitist.

Default Here's the answer but also a warning for our own future:

Besides, April graciously offered to do a B5 event. Any takers or just whiners?

Default LOL, I still love the B5, but this whole vs. thing is so annoying

I can sympathize with the B5 owners. For one, the B6 appeals to a completely different demographic. There are more people buying the car for bling than any other Audi, IMO. They think we're stupid for spending so much money on a car that's heavier and "less sporty". The B6 owners then take everything personally, because they're expecting the B5 forum to bow down to the new kid on the block.

It's all just a recurring theme.

Now it's time to get back the the CP failures.
