I look at it 2 ways. Yes I understand they might not want someone linking their pics, but in a case like this where you go through a google image search and never come across the page with the warning not to hot link... that is a very unkind way to combat the problem. A simple image saying "No Hot Linking" would work and not cause issues for people at work, etc.

I mean if your car sux that much that you know it is going to be made fun of why would you build it in the first place, let alone but some nasty *** pic in the hotlink - what a jerkoff (not you the loser w/ the huge wing)
