You're telling me the 1.8T only comes with a 5 speed???

I really don't understand the need for another gear. It just means more rowing.
Hell, even doing 70 on the freeway, going from 4th to 5th only drops the rpms a little...i've left it in 4th by mistake a bunch of times.

6th gear is great for highway crusing in my TT...
In my 225 TT when I am doing 85mph on the highway I am only at 3100 RPM...makes for a quiter and more fuel efficient ride. I just got my A4 last week and couldn't get over the difference without the 6th gear.
