zymol (or zyrtle as some call it) cleaner wax; is it any good? what exactly is cleaner wax?

Default i have it, its ok. I like megiurs (prbly spelled wrong ) cleaner wax better...
Cleaner wax does what it says, cleans. I use it to clean stuff stuck on my car, and you can use it to clean small scratches, cleans the dirt out of them makes them much less visable.

i use zymol in the front and lower parts as the first wax i use, then i use meguiers then zanio

does cleaner wax add a layer of coat to protect the paint? does it coat last long?

it says it does, but i still put regular protective wax on top just to be sure

Skip it. Highly abrasive, a blue version of Turtle Wax. Meguire's Hi-Tech #26, imo. It lasts.
