does that seem high?? My car is less that a year old but all of a sudden the center cabs look like they are 10 years old.
This is a quote from Clair Parts....if this seems high any other suggestions??
Thanks

unless there is physical damage from a car wash or some other means they should replace under your warranty.

but I would assume its either from roads/car wash/changing the tires.
I dont think scratched center caps are covered by the warranty. They surely would cover scratch to a paint job

My 91 VW GTI center caps turned yellow about a year after purchasing and they changed them out without me asking when it was being serviced.
I thought that was cool.

I noticed that too, but I couldn't figure it out. I'm looking at it and it looks like the chrome is all tarnished and it looks like the paint has changed color. Turns out there's this greasy black stuff all over it.
But a lot came off when I got some soap on it. So I tried some other cleaners and finally I put a dab of Meguiar's Fine Cut Cleaner on a terry cloth towel and it just wiped off.
I have a feeling the brake dust just happens to cling to that more than the surrounding baked-on clearcoat.
