Default 08 Audi loyality rebate

The lease on my '06 A4 2.0QT is up 9/30/07. I have had the final inspection. A post on another site says there is an Audi loyalty rebate available as of 9/05/07 for people currently in an Audi going to any 2008 A4.
The post also says the MF on 2008 A4's is .00128 (it was .00148 the last I read). I believe the residual on a 36 month 12K lease is 57%. Anyone know if either issue is correct, especially the "loyalty rebate"? I really would like to get an '08 A4 but up to now the dealer quotes have been very high: $80 - $100 over my current 2-year lease and the ones I have gotten are for 3-years which ought to be cheaper since you won't have to replace the tires in 24 months but undoubtedly will in 36 months. Help!!

Default Update: 08 Audi loyality rebate

I talked to my dealer and Audi is offering a $750 cap cost contribution to current Audi leasers getting into a new 2008 A4. For me that lowers my payment enough that I have decided to go with the offer, pending details in writing:
Car:
2008 A4 Sedan 2.0 QT
Tiptronic
Dolphin Grey/Ebony Lthr
Premium Pkg.
Convenience Pkg.
Heated seats
Dark walnut interior trim

Lease terms:
$527.37/month
36 months
15,000 mi./year
"0" cash down
8.375% Sales tax in lease payment
Audi Care maintenacne in lease
No security deposit
Cancellation of $350 disposition fee on my '06 A4

The upfront cost at delivery is $1,232.68 (first month payment of $527.37, $575 bank fee, $130.31 MV and document fees)

They are searching invcntory and I may get a Silver w/o wood - that drops the monthly by $10.13 and the cash upfront by $10.68.

BTW the cheapest BMW X3 I could get was (same terms) was $570 and had leatherette interior & only heated seats, privacy glass & heated steering wheel as options. Another dealer had the same car for $599 no discussion.
Also, Honda CRV EXL no nav. was $460/month with the same taxes in, etc. The A4 for $67 a month more than a CRV was for me a no-brainer.

Default Are you sure about X3 being so expensive?

The 3-year, 15K mile per year residual for the X3 is very high (65%), so I would think that the lease payments would be quite reasonable, definitely below $500/mo for a nicely laoded car.

Default Re: Are you sure about X3 being so expensive?

Not really - where I am in the NYC suburban area (Westchester) they barely answer my calls on such a "low end" vehicle. The dealer is offering $570/ month for X3 + heated seats, heated steering wheel & privacy windows (that means leatherette upholstery) 36 months 15K per year all sales tax (8.375%) in. To get Xenons I have to go to $599/month. The Audi dealer is now offering $502/month for 36 months, 15 K miles per year, sales tax in and "0" down, Audi Care maintenance included. Only about $250 in document and other fees for an '08 2.0TQ Tip w/ Premium, convenience (Xenons), heated seats and Silver paint. I will go for that I think. I also save the disposition fee ($350) on my '06 A4, and no security deposit - BMW's is $600. Right now Audi is offering $750 "loyalty" capital contribution to current Audi owners/leasers on an '08 A4 - that helps.
