Recently bought an 09 A4 Cabriolet Special Edition with blue-tooth telephone included. It does not have the navigation system (didn't need) nor is it the MMI system. We were trading in our 07 A4 Sedan that had blue-tooth telephone with voice control (same sound system with BOSE upgrade) and were told we indeed had blue-tooth but were not informed that voice control was not part of the 09 A4 Cab set-up. I have done lots of research on this web site and the internet and have not found out if it is possible to enable the voice control on this year's model with our configuraton. I am told that this is the B7 platform. I have seen Vag Com settings for A3 and A5 in how to activate the voice control but nothing for the 09 A4 Cab. Hoping someone has the answer and that it is merely a software thing and not a whole retro-fit with a new phone system to get it activated.

No voice command on the cabs due to it being a convertible.

audi must be very serious about the ambient noise problem, even though the things still doesn't understand me, when I push the voice control button the computer actually turn down the air conditioning if its anything higher then 2 bars.

I cant believe they could think something like that so through but then design the parking brake and center console as badly as they did
