Default 18x8.5 BBS CH on B7s

Hi
I'm looking at purchasing a set of BBS CH fitted with PZero Rosso. A few questions:
1. The offset is 35 on those 5x112 pattern 18x8.5 BBS CH while it is 42 on B7s I believe. What will this result in, apart from tires sticking out more?
2. Will there be any kind of rubbing, at all, after a drop using H&R sport springs and Bilsten shocks (a drop of 1.5 front and 1.4 rear)?
3. Is 225/40/18 suitable? If not, what problems will I come across?
4. Would it be necessary, or better for me to change to 235/40? What difference will this make?
5. Is there an OEM Audi cap for BBS CH? Are they the same as those new S4s?
6. So, running an offset that is far from stock, and on a car that is dropped, will there be any implications in the long term? I ask because the parts manager at my local dealership tried to scare me off by saying it could void warranty on certain parts by running the above set up.
Thanks!

Default Go for 235/40/18 tires. 225's would fit but 8.5" width is too wide... Tires would be stretched.

This in turn would jeopardize the cornering... 235s are the perfect fit for 8.5 width rims....

The offset difference would be 7mm in terms of sticking out... This would not hurt even if you lower the cars. There is plenty of rooms... If you go wider than 235s such as 245 or 255s I am sure it will rub in the rear...

not true....not always true at least

tires are like shirts. A 225/40/18 from one firm can be as wide as a 245 from another. You need to look on the manufacturers site, as they all list the physical dimensions, as well as recommended wheel widths

yes the offset is higher than a stock B7 - but the width is increased as well. As a result, they won't sit much different from stock - slightly more aggressive, but nothing major
