Default 2.0TQ: Any reasonably priced AS tires suitable for lease turn in?

My 06 is due for lease turn in in late May. One of the OEM Goodyear Eagle LS/2 tires hit a nail and suffered irrepairable damage. I'm currently using the new full size spare tire from the trunk but need to get 3 more Eagle LS/2's to keep the quattro system happy but they are kind of pricey at near $200 a piece. Alternatively, I can go for something cheaper and replace all 4 tires as a set and keep the LS/2 as spare. Any suggestions for something reasonably priced without compromising safety? I need AS because I live in the snow belt. Thanks!

Default How good are they on B7 in snow?

Looks like people are complaining about the lack of grip on snow with these tires on Tire Rack.

Default I believe I have Pirelli P6's on mine. Fine in the snow and don't cost too much IIRC.

Not sure, but don't all 5 tires have to match (in terms of brand)?

Per the use and wear section of AFS link on the Audi America site:
All 5 tires must macth in size and speed rating (and brand on Quattro vehicles)

Default How about Continental ContiExtremeContacts? Just be really careful when you park.

There is no rim guard. Other than that, I am really happy with them. $114 each for 17".<ul><li><a href="http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AR4&amp;url=%2Ftires%2Ftires.jsp%3FtireMak e%3DContinental%26amp%3BtireModel%3DContiExtremeCo ntact%26amp%3Bpartnum%3D345WR7CEC%26amp%3BvehicleS earch%3Dtrue%26amp%3BfromCompare1%3Dyes%26amp%3Bpl ace%3D24%

Default I had 2 sets on my B5 A4TQM and did not ever have a problem...

Probably part quattro, part tire. If you were looking long term, I got about 60,000 miles on both sets of tires.
