Hello,
I purchased a pre-owned 2007 A4 at the beginning of this year, but the winter was rather mild, making me never think of getting a remote starter. But now that the cold has crept in again, it's looking more and more appealing.
I'm rather inexperienced in this area, and figured this forum would be an excellent place to learn some information and get advice. Will you guys please shed some light on some inexpensive options to get a remote starter installed?
I've seen some fobs that come with the starters and they are bulky. I prefer only keeping one set of keys on me. Will I have to carry both? Or does the new fob let me unlock as well? I hear you can get it as an app nowadays? How reliable is it? Will I still need to carry the fob just in case even if I get the app?
Any additional information you think will benefit me is appreciated as well.
I live in British Columbia, Canada, if that helps.
Thanks,
Adi
