Default 2008 MB C-Class officially unveiled

V6 engines offered on the C280 and C350 are unchanged but the 4-cylinder engines are more powerful and achieve better fuel economy. Lots of new technology and safety features, but I am not crazy about the exterior or interior. The Sport model with AMG body kit looks nice, though.

2008 C-Class

The SW and its buttons are ugly, but I think it looks better than the current version

A bit busy outside, and a buttonfest inside. Overall nice and blocky like the old 190.

Yea, sort of Camry-ish on the inside. Double exhaust would be nice as well.

Default Not feeling it.

Like:
- grille (the large 3-point star version only)
- B7-like twin 5-spoke wheels
- Gauges

Don't like:
- Built-in eye-lids
- Last-gen Camry tail lights
- 70's-space-invader-like 4-spoke steering wheel
- Volvo-style pop-up navigation screen
- Busy exterior styling

Default The front badge/grill is huge, but overall not bad. I'm sure that it will drive a lot better than

before...Anyway competition is good, it will keep Audi on it's toes...

Default Hit

with a sledge.

On a different note, looks like MB is going like Lexus, where all the cars are becoming less and less distinguishable in their line. For example, from the rear, an ES looks like the GS and LS. Matter of fact, even the Camry could be easily mistaken for the Lexus now.

The new C-Class looks more like the S-Class than previous generations. Just my $0.02.
