So, I was considering picking up an HID kit for headlamps and fogs that had that sleek R8 Style LED Bar in them. I did some searching on the forums and didnt find anyone that referenced these exactly.

However i did have some questions if anyone has some ideas, i seen in this post that CharlesP https://www.audiworld.com/forums/sho...ght=B7+HID+Kit referneces that its not ideal to install HID kits into non-hid cars because of focus / glare etc. I obviously want ideal performance with good lucks, not one or the other =/ any thoughts on that? Furthermore, while the bumper is off any other mods i should consider for performance increase etc? This is a stock 08 A4 B7 Quattro S-Line body kit. it's an automatic if that means anything as well.

If anyone lives anywhere near Philladelphia to Lancaster PA and wants to showcase these lights pictures and vids on youtube done do them justice, i'd love to see any glare issues etc first hand before i shell out 500+ beans.

Sorry, totally forgot to drop a link of the set im considering however i'd love to view any HID conversion kits anyone has installed in the Philly or Lancaster areas.

I just bought a set for my Audi A4, B7 Quattro, Manual shift. I got mine from Spyder. I bought the new lens, and the HID kit.

I have not installed them yet, I wanted to get more information on removing the bumper, and couple of the hookups on the HID kit.

I got mine for around $464, lens and HID kit. I am in the Cincy area.

Was the bumper hard to take off? Any hints or tips on the removal?
