A4 Premium 2.0T CVT Leather Seats Uncomfortable???

Does anyone find these seats painful. I find that there is a bulge in the middle to lower middle of the seat back that sticks right into the middle of my back. It is as if the lumbar support bladder does not deflate all of the way or if the frame if the seat extends out too far or if there is too much cushion.
Adjusting the lumbar support doesn't change anything as this bulge occurs with no lumbar support adjustment at all.
I went back to Audi and tried the seats in different A4s and the seat does seem to vary between flat with loose leather covering (ie less stuffing) to seats that are somewhere between flat and bulging.
Anyone have any experience with this?

They tell me you can't replace the seats due to the airbag having a car specific vin # on it. Plus, I imagine the recarros are quite expensive and they wouldn't replace them under warranty due to the bulge. Thanks.
