I have this quattro 18" sport that sometimes in the freeway at 70-75 mph seems to wobble: feels like there is some tug due to side wind but in reality there is none. I was thinking this is caused by some misalignement and the quattro is trying to correct, I have the Pilot Sport Michelin tires. My car has 20 K miles and is an 06 S-line, manual. Do I need to do the alignement and put new tires? What do you guys think?

are you sure it's not pulling to one side because of the angle they put on the freeway surface for water drainage? Is there "wobble" or just pull to one side or the other? I've experienced pull on the freeway that's magically gone on a perfectly level surface street...

It has a small oscillatory side motion; left to right no adjustment to the steering wheel needed. There are other parts of the freeway which very smooth and flat this does not happen. By the way I drive the 405 in LA-Orange county daily. This problem occurs near the Seal Beach exit. I remember driving a brand new 07 quattro that felt better planted and steering very straight.

2008 A4 Avant with sport package. I get some side to side wobble but only on some of my commute on grooved freeway. I think it's the tires gripping perhaps too well on badly done grooves. Otherwise stable as all heck, like it's on rails.
