Default A4 rear bumber fix question

Hello. I have had my A4 for about 4 months and have some lovely neighbors who enjoy using my rear bumper for parallel parking practice. This has resulted in some unwanted scratches and nicks on the bumber. Can anyone recommend a way or method to repair the bumper at all? Can you paint the scratches, that type of thing.

Thanks
J

Default I would call your dealer and see who they use to touch up cars

I've seen some mobile touch up company's do a great job.

Default you should hunt down those neighbors and make them do the work of finding a repair method, and payin

g for it.

Default Paint Fixes

Thanks to my wife, I've gotten pretty good at fixing those. I also used to do a little custom paint work in the 90's as well so I've got some of the tools still. If they are just surface scratches and not showing primer or plastic. They should be able to come out pretty easy. Any body shop could do it or one of those dent magic guys could fix it. I would take it to one of those guys before a body shop really. A body shop will want to fix everything by respraying the whole bumper in most cases. Not a good idea unless the bumper is in really bad shape. It doesn't sound like yours is. A detailer could problably do a good job too.

Default I actually have similar issues...

except I actually caused the damage. Between me, my brother and my friend, my car was backed into cars and dumpsters three days in a row. I know that may sound really bad (the damage, I realize the driving is horrible), the damage was actually not too bad. Apart from a small dent and some chipped paint that you can't notice unless you look for it, the back bumper is fine. I was at a car detailing place that offered Dent Wizard service, but they said they couldn't do anything with the bumper because it was plastic (was this bs?). I don't really trust myself with touchup paint so I think I am just going to wait for the lease to expire and bring it to a body shop right before I turn it in. Sorry if this post is no help.

Default video camera on a tripod in your back seat filming out the back window.

catch one person and you can blame them for all the damage.

Good idea, that won't look weird or anything.

Does anyone use the Audi touch up paint on their bumpers, does that work? Can i get that at the dealer?
